Peter K. Orfanos passed away on April 18th, 2020. Beloved husband of Helen nee Stathopoulous. Devoted father of Connie (Scott) Modell and Dino (Page) Orfanos. Loving son of the late Konstantinos and the late Haido nee Bisbikos Orfanos. Fond grandfather of Peter and Laney. Dear brother of Despoina (Peter) Georgaklis. Dear brother in law of Maria (late James) Kleronomos, Barbara (Nick) Revelis, Connie (Anthony) Miologos and George (Gabrielle) Stathopoulos. Dear uncle of many and great uncle to many. Arrangements for Peter have been entrusted to Russo's Hillside Chapels. In Keeping with compliance with the current CDC and IDPH Recommendations regarding gathering size (not to exceed more than 10 people), all funeral services for Peter will remain private for just the immediate family only. For those of you that would have attended Peter's services you may sign his guestbook and leave your condolences to the family by clicking on the "guest book" tab at the top of this page. If you wish to send a sympathy card, mass card or monetary donation to Peter's family, please send it to Russo's Hillside Chapels, care of Peter. For additional information please call (708)449-5300. In lieu of flowers, donations to Edward's Hospital Cancer Center in Naperville are appreciated.

We were heart-broken to learn of Peter's passing, and we send our deepest sympathies and prayers to Helen, Connie, Dino and families, on the loss of your beloved husband and father. We knew Peter as a welcoming and kind neighbor, who was just as congenial when we saw him on occasional visits to Millers downtown. We hope that your memories of your best times together help to comfort and sustain you now, and in the days to come. We would like to send our sincere condolences to the Orfanos family. We will always remember Peter from our many years as patrons of Miller's Pub in Chicago. He always greeted us with a smile, a warm welcome, and, as we got to know him a little better, one of his famous jokes! We looked forward to seeing him each Wednesday night at Millers - he truly made our visits special occasions. Our thoughts and prayers are with Peter's family. We will always fondly remember him.
